What materials are used to make the cabinets?
The outer material is a wood product called Pan-o-lam. It is used in kitchen cabinets a lot and has vinyl laminated on it. It looks very nice and is easy to clean.

How far do the drawers extend?
There are no drawer stops of rollers. Each drawer sets on wooden guides inside the cabinet, allowing the drawer to pull out completely like a tray. Very convenient.

Are the cabinets stackable?
The cabinets are very sturdy and are made to stack. Two ten drawer plus a five drawer on top is about as high as I can see into.

How many stamps can be stored in each drawer?
Each drawer will hold an average of 50-70 stamps per drawer. Of course that is very subject to stamp sizes. But we feel safe in averaging 300 - 350 stamps (all stamps laying flat) for each five drawer unit.

Do the drawers come with handles?
Index pull tabs come on all our cabinets. They are a little brass plated frame with a finger pull tab. (Like you would have seen on an old library card catalog.) It is very convenient and makes a great way to label each of the drawers. Or you may also order your cabinet without any pull tabs at all,if you prefer to add your own knobs ect. Without them, you can open the drawers by simply pulling from the sides of the drawer front. (Just give us a call for price changes.)

Will I have to assemble the cabinet?
The cabinets come fully assembled. With the exception of the optional caster wheels. But the holes are pre-drilled and ready to screw in.

How much does the cabinet weigh?
The ten drawere cabinet weighs about 85 pounds empty.
